Exceptional item on display at the workshop!
As part of the forthcoming “Parcours des Ateliers Carougeois” festival of local artists, upholsterer and interior designer Peter Kammermann will be having an open day at his workshop.
First viewing and demonstration, Saturday 11 May from 11 am – 5 pm at 20, rue Saint-Victor in Carouge.
Peter will be presenting a large gilded-wood Louis XVI sofa that has been restored. The silk velvet material used was specially woven for this piece by the Luigi Bevilacqua mill in Venice.
